La Palestine va pouvoir présenter sa candidature à toutes les agences spécialisées de l'ONU

La Palestine va donc pouvoir présenter sa candidature à toutes les agences spécialisées des Nations Unies, comme par exemple :

• United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) 
• Universal Postal Union (UPU) 
• World Bank Group 
• International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD) 
• International Finance Corporation (IFC) 
• International Development Association (IDA) 
• World Health Organization (WHO) 
• World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) 
• World Meteorological Organization (WMO) 
• World Tourism Organization (UNWTO)International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) 
• World Trade Organization (WTO) 
• Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons 

Or il existe 2 lois américaines des années 1990 qui interdisent  le financement d'une agence spécialisée des Nations unies qui accepterait les Palestiniens en tant qu'Etat membre à part entière, en l'absence d'accord de paix avec Israël. 

Si les USA coupent leur financement à ces agences, d'une part, ils risquent de perdre leur droit de vote et leur influence et d'autres part ces agences sans le financement américain auront beaucoup de mal à fonctionner.
